The Jewish harvest feast, Shavuot, also celebrated the giving of the law to Moses. A law given by God, written on tablets of stone. The Holy Spirit comes to fulfill that law, now written in our hearts. The new law, the supreme law of love, is written by the Spirit of God within us. The Holy Spirit changes our hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.
