Don Antonino Fernández Rodríguez
(13.12.1917-31.08.2016)

August 31 marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of our beloved Don Antonino. Once again, we look to heaven with gratitude for his life and remember him in prayer, together with his intentions and all the good works made possible through his generosity.

It is easy to have beautiful ideas and dreams. Bringing them to life is another matter. But when they come from God, He provides the right people and the resources needed along the way.

Don Antonino Fernández played a decisive role in making Magdala a reality. He was not the first to support the project, nor was he the only one, but his help made all the difference. Without him, Magdala might never have become what it is today.

Thank you, Don Antonino, for believing in me! Mission accomplished! May you rest in God’s eternal glory!

On September 9 at 7:00 p.m., I will celebrate Holy Mass for the repose of his soul at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
