Magdala Through History

Every day, hundreds, and even thousands, of pilgrims visit Magdala. Like the pilgrims of old, they are moved when they see the city of Mary Magdalene and pray in the places where the Savior once walked.

At the end of 2004, a priest from the Legionaries of Christ, Fr. Juan Solana, was passing through ancient Magdala. He was looking for a place where he could build a hostel for pilgrims.
