Dear Magdala Family,
We are about to celebrate an exceptional Christmas: Merry Christmas!
As we have expressed on several occasions, our proposal for this Christmas is to have a PANDEMIC OF TENDERNESS.
Allow me to share here the definition as I have found it so we may be on the same page. TENDERNESS: “The feeling for people, things or situations that are considered worthy of a pure and free love or affection, because of their sweetness, weakness or delicacy”. The synonyms we find in some dictionaries are, tenderness, delicacy, sweetness, and affection.
No matter which part of the definition we consider, we have countless reasons to practice tenderness, especially this Christmas. May this pure and free expression of love make this Christmas an unforgettable time.
This is a perfect occasion to express to you the enormous gratitude we experience for your affection, your support, generosity and your commitment to Magdala.
In our intentions of these days each and every one of you will be present, as well as those most vulnerable during this time.
If the Holy Scripture defines Immanuel as “God-with-us”, we wish to be able to answer “We-with-Him” full of trust, love and gratitude.
We remain united in prayer, preparing ourselves to welcome the New Year filled with trust in the Provident Love of God.
Fraternally from Magdala,
