The natural beauty of Mount Nebo and the grandeur of the millennia of Churches built on top of each other on the site are an immense tribute to Moses, who died here. His Chosen People would continue from there, without their leader, into the Promised Land. So, they needed to live the Law as their guiding light to a nation called to be home to justice and peace for all.
Living solidarity as brothers and sisters in Christ calls us to see the redemptive value of our care for creation through our work. Our right to dignified work and a just wage are just two examples of ensuring that we are not enslaved but free to subdue the earth with and for one another.
