God is Love, and we are called to enter into a relationship with that Love. A part of who we are is in a relationship with God and others. Your vocation, your capacity, and your responsibility for both love and communion are why you were created in God’s image. Your body, your soul, and your affectivity are what God, your Father, wants to protect by giving you his Law.

We’re not breaking the law when we talk about God’s law: when we break, for example, this Commandment, what’s broken is our heart, our capacities both to love and enter into a relationship. So, God gives us his grace to follow his Law of Love because he wants us to be safe and happy.
