Letter from Father Juan

Dear friends of Magdala,

The summer is usually the low season in Israel for tourism and the Magdala team has some time to breathe and catch up on some office work. The past couple of weeks we have been working hard to prepare the following statistics that we would like to share with you. We are excited about the numbers and we want to thank you, for without your prayers and support this would not have been possible. Many thanks!

We ask for your continued support for the second half of the year as we are back in full swing with the preparation of the Magdala Guesthouse that will help increase our impact in the Holy Land!

We look forward to this and your next visit! Many thanks and we send you our blessings from Magdala.

Fraternally,  Fr. Juan Maria Solana, L.C.

See below for our up to date statistics:

In 2016, the Magdala Archaeological Park welcomed over 76,157 visitors and pilgrims from 85 different countries.

We are happy to share with you that as of July 31st, 2017, Magdala had received 74,436 visitors – showing that we have received almost the same amount as last year in half the time!

We thank you very much for your support and look forward for your prayers and help in spreading our message. This increase in visitors is thanks to you!
